A 19th century gilt bronze mounted pearl grippe dagger circa 1840 with 10” diamond shaped double edged blade. Elaborate gilt bronze pommel and cross guard. Wire wrapped pearl scales (some damage). The scabbard hassome gilding remaining and later iron shape (repaired). The blade is scratched. Measures 16” overall. An attractive dagger made for use. Est.: $150-$300
