With One Piece High Comb Skull. The skull showing great period delamination, exfoliation and roughness from the armorer’s hammer. The brim with rolled rim. The well formed pierced earflaps appear original to the helmet. One piece gorget plate or neck lame. Traces of original leather lining. Condition is fine overall. This is a homogenous second quarter of the 17th century burgonet and suitable for mounting on an armor or enjoying as a scarce and desirable type of helmet.
