The Jurassic Classic annual sturgeon-fishing tournament will be held again on the majestic Fraser River in beautiful Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada – August 16-18, 2019. 28 professionally guided teams will enjoy two full days of fun-filled fishing adventure and will be treated to first class hospitality, with all proceeds raised going to wild sheep projects in British Columbia.
What is included in this package?
This all-inclusive package is two full days of professionally-guided, world-class sturgeon fishing with Great River Fishing Adventures (GRFA) – http://greatriverfishing.com/ for two anglers (one team). All meals, fishing gear, and transportation* are provided. Friday evening, after receiving your welcome package and purchasing your fishing license, guests are invited to socialize with drinks and appetizers before the fishing guide auction starts. Saturday morning you are up bright and early for breakfast at the hotel then onto the bus to the boat launch where you will meet up with your guide and shove off into the Fraser River for a full day of sturgeon fishing. Upon your return you will be treated to gourmet game BBQ prepared on the bank of the river before being shuttled back to the hotel. Sunday morning you’re up and off to breakfast again then back on the bus to the launch for your second day of fishing. Sunday’s awards banquet wraps up the weekend with prizes for fishing, draws and the live and silent auctions.
*Note: All transportation will be provided between the river and hotel. Guests must make their own travel arrangements to and from the tournament. Alcohol will be available for purchase at the hotel throughout the weekend. The cost of the fishing license is extra and the responsibility of each angler.

Successful bidders will be charged the total amount of their successful bid, plus the 5% online buyers premium upon the close of the auction unless other arrangements are made. Contact the office at 1-877-818-2688 for further information.
Accepted Payment Methods:
Unless otherwise specified, the outfitter will be responsible for the care of the preliminary trophy preparation, salting and transportation of trophies and meat to the departure point, at no additional cost. Departure point is noted in each donation profile. The successful auction bidder will be responsible for all transportation costs and crating for the departure point to their home or taxidermist. Licenses, tags and other fees are at the expense of the successful bidder. Upon receipt of certified funds, the outfitter will acquire licenses and tags prior to the hunt. In the hunt listings, you will see the from time to time the letters “TBA” which means “to be arranged” with the guide outfitter. Successful bidders will be required to sign an insurance liability waiver form prior to taking their hunt or other wilderness trip. Al trips must be taken within the time specified. Any changes are at the sole discretion of the guide outfitter making the donation. All trips are for one person unless otherwise specified.
GOABC reserves the right to alter, delete or modify any of the items described in this profile. Final descriptions and lists of items will be available prior to the auction. Pictures shown depict the outfitters game where ever possible.
GOABC reserves the right of refusal on any trip that does not meet 50% of the market value.
