WITH SCOPE IMPORTED BY FLAIG'S. Cal. 12 Ga., 2 3/4"/222 Remington. S# 4707. The 25" demi-bloc barrels are fitted with matted top rib engraved "Franz Sodia Ferlach" in unmatted portion. Rib is fitted with claw scope bases, flip up rear sight and gold bead front. Bottoms of barrels are stamped with calibers and 1955 Ferlach nitro proofs. A sling loop is soldered to bottom barrel. Coin finished, scallop back, O/U, double Kirsten, blitz action features automatic safety, bushed strikers and double triggers (front set). Action is engraved with 90% coverage nicely cut shaded scroll surrounding game scenes; with running white tail buck and doe on left side of action and a setter pointing a pair of departing pheasant on right. Bottom of action has a scene of large grouse taking flight from tree branch. Bottom of trigger plate is flushed gold inlaid "H. T. MILLER". Blued trigger guard has bow engraved with "Flaig's" lodge logo (Flaig's was an importer of fine European guns and gunsmithing supplies through the 50's to the early 70's). Capped pistol grip stock of crotch figured European walnut measures 15" over ribbed plastic buttplate and features shadow line right hand cheekpiece, raised side panels, horn grip cap and point pattern checkering. A sling loop and cartridge magazine with spring loaded cover are on toeline. Matching one piece forend has Deeley release. Combo is fitted with Ajack scope (unmarked. either 6X or 8X) with crosshair reticle and soldered on claw rings. MEASUREMENTS: BBL: Bore Diameter: T .722". Restriction: T .043" (extra full). Wall thickness: T .023". STOCK: DAH: 3 3/16". DAC: 1 5/8". CAST: off about 1/2". LOP: 15". WEIGHT without scope: 7 lb. 2 oz. CONDITION: very fine. Retaining 90-95% original finishes on wood and metal with a fair scattering of minor marks and light wear associated with light field use. Bores are bright and shiny.
