Mike and Karen Helbing, owners of the Double Deuce Ranch in Missouri and owners of the Wild Wildebeest Lodge in South Africa, are donating a 10-day Combo Hunt: 5-day Missouri Whitetail Archery Hunt with a 5-day South Africa Hunting Safari. The total donation is valued up to $30,300. Note that both hunts must be taken.
The Missouri archery hunt includes 5 nights/5 days of lodging, meals, and all beverages for 4 hunters. The hunt is for 1 buck, 1 doe, and 2 turkeys. Also included in the donation is fishing. Additional hunters are welcome at a cost of $1950 per hunter. Observers are welcome at $100 per day. Not included in the donation is the hunting license (approximately $265) and gratuities. Hunt may be taken in September or October 2020 or 2021.
The South African Hunting Safari is for up to 6 hunters (2x1). Included are 5 days of daily rates (lodging, meals, and all beverages) and each hunter’s choice of a blue wildebeest or a zebra. Of the 5 days, 1 day will include an afternoon of bird hunting for dove, francolin, and guineafowl which will be cooked over a hot fire and served while in camp. Not included in the donation is airfare to/from Johannesburg, day of arrival and day of departure, conservation fees, VAT (value added tax), dip and pack if taxidermy is done in the U.S., and gratuities. Hunt may be taken from March through October 2021 or 2022.
With this donation, DDR Taxidermy in Powersville, Missouri is offering up to a $500 credit per hunter toward taxidermy work done by their company – applied as 10% on shoulder mounts and 10% on European mounts. Contact Jacob Helbing at 608-572-2387 or struttintom@gmail.com.

The Outfitter/Safari Operator may require an additional deposit to hold hunting dates once they are confirmed. The deposit may be used for additional days, trophy fees, or expenses you incur with the hunt. The deposit may not be returned in the event of a cancellation; however, it may be carried over if rescheduling is necessary. Hunt dates are the responsibility of the hunter and the Outfitter/Safari Operator and are handled between those two parties.

Save the Habitat. Save the Hunt. is the NWTF’s 10-year initiative to Conserve or enhance 4 million acres of critical wildlife habitat, Recruit 1.5 million hunters, Open access to 500,000 additional acres for hunting.
Any bid made at a NWTF auction, whether in person at a live auction, by phone, or online, constitutes an unconditional offer to buy the item in question at the price bid. Unless a higher and subsequent bid is made, your bid creates a binding contract of purchase, obligates you to sign the bid ticket or, in the case of a phone or online bid, authorizes the person who took the bid to sign on your behalf AND requires that the bid amount be paid prior to the close of the auction. In the event that the successful bid was made by phone or online, the bid price must be received before the close of the sixth business day after the close of the auction. Payments can be made by cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. If the winner of an auction refuses to pay the winning bid price plus any premiums required, the item shall be offered to the next highest bidder for the price he/she bid. If the next highest bidder declines the item or if the second highest bidder is unknown, the Chapter President shall dispose of the item at his/her discretion.
ONLINE BIDDING/PERMIT BUYERS: A 5% buyer’s premium with a $250 cap will be added to the final bid price of all lots (unless prohibited by statute). Proceeds will be dedicated to NWTF Conservation initiatives. If the winner of this item refuses to pay the premiums required, the item shall be offered to the next highest bidder for the price he/she bid.

PAYING WITH CREDIT CARDS: PAYING BY CREDIT CARD WILL BE CHARGED AN ADDITIONAL 3% ADMINISTRATION FEE If item does not get to reserve then the highest bidder will be offered the option to buy it at reserve price.
FIREARMS: Before taking possession of your purchased firearm, the gun must be registered in compliance with all federal, state, and local firearms laws. To meet this compliance, NWTF will ship the firearm, at the expense of the purchaser, from our FFL, Edgefield, SC 29824 to a Federal Firearms License (FFL) holder of your choice after convention if the buyer is not present at the convention. Sports Lure will be transferring firearms during and immediately after the banquet for those who are present.
NWTF AUCTION ITEM POLICY:
All goods in the live auctions and fund-raising areas have been acquired or obtained from third parties. The purchaser acknowledges that the goods have not been inspected by NWTF, and is advised, in the case of firearms, knives, bullets, or other weapons to obtain a competent inspection and test of the goods before use. The goods sold in the live auctions are sold ‘’AS IS” with all faults and defects, and without any express or implied warranty on the part of NWTF. NWTF provides no warranties of fitness and expressly disclaims the same. NWTF does not accept any liability or responsibility for any product, design, or use. Any written warranties on the goods delivered to the high bidder are those solely of the manufactures, and/or their agents, and shall be the sole liability and responsibility of the manufacturer.
All services, hunts, or otherwise, in the live auctions and fund-raising areas have been acquired for and are to be furnished by third parties and contain the same reservation set forth under “goods” above. No services in the live auction are to be or will be performed by NWTF. NWTF shall bear no responsibilities for the delivery or quality of any of the services, or for any loss or damages arising from or related to or connected with the performance or non-performance of such services. The purchaser also acknowledges that in the event that services are purchased, NWTF cannot be responsible for or liable for any political unrest or instability that may occur outside the United States. NWTF cannot be accountable for any injuries or damages that may arise there from. NWTF reserves the right to add items to the auctions as additional donations become available. Only NWTF exhibitors may solicit and/ or market to permit buyers.
AUCTION ITEM SCHEDULE/ The online auction will end at approximately 1800 hours MTN time on Saturday, August 15, 2020. The online auction will be posted approximately two weeks prior to that ending date.
PAYMENT/PICK-UP
Buyers who purchase items through the Online Hunting Auctions website will immediately be charged for their items on their registered credit cards. Buyers may contact Bruce Boroski at (970) 593-8201 and make alternate arrangements for payment within 10 days prior to the online auction and within 6 days after the online auction concludes. Once this payment is received, the original credit card payment will be voided.
