Your adventure begins by leaving the
Juneau airport the morning of August 20,
2017. A small float plan will take you to
Elfin Cove, Alaska; about a 45-minute
flight. After an on-board safety briefing
the F/V Ocean Wave will head out
fishing until about noon on August 23rd.
The vessel will return to Elfin Cove, off
load the fish to be sold and return to
Juneau. There will great opportunities
for whale watching and sightseeing as
we run back to Juneau.
You may be involved in the fishing
operation as much or as little as you
choose. This is a total hands-on, be an
Alaskan commercial fisherman
adventure! This is a power trolling adventure.
Fishing will take place in the Gulf of
Alaska or in Cross Sound depending on
weather conditions at the time. The
vessel will anchor in small coves along
the coastline each night. We will Provide:
50 pounds of salmon per person from the catch, Transportation to and from Elfin Cove, Alaska
All meals, snacks, and non-alcoholic
beverages
? All required fishing gear
Individual bunks with bedding and
pillows
Rain gear, boots and gloves
All required lifesaving/safety
equipment
Cleaning and handling of 50 pounds of
salmon per person
Transportation of your fish for
processing in Juneau
