Obrien Creek Outfitters has graciously donated a Baited brown bear hunt.
10 Day baited brown bear hunt.
2 Brown Bear area, 2nd bear is an additional $10,000. 5 Black bear area additional trophy fee of $1,000 per bear.
That's 10 days of actual hunting, plan on around a 12 day trip to allow for travel.
Arrive in anchorage we will pick you up at the airport if at all possible. Drive to Wasilla. Fly out via super cub to your bait. I will move you once during your hunt if the bait goes dead for some reason. Great for archery hunters. Sub 20 yards shots on most bears.
We have ladder stands and hang on stands. all around 20' off the ground. you will camp around a mile from the bait and walk over there each night to hunt. be prepared for long sits. 12hrs, we hunt all night. roughly 7pm - 7am time frame.
We eat real food in camp for the most part very little freeze-dried meals. expect brown bears in the 7.5-9.5' range with 23-27" skulls and black bears in the 6-7' range with 16-19" skulls.
