The Alaska Department of Fish and Game has donated a 2014-2015 harvest permit for a Copper River Bison. This hunt will take place on GMU 11 and a portion of 13 (D). Season dates will be September 1st to March 31st and either sex can be harvested. All season dates, methods and means, restrictions, and permit hunt conditions that apply to big game hunts and drawing permits also apply to this harvest permit. This hunt will take place in a very remote area, primarily accessible by light aircraft on small undeveloped gravel strips.
