Groat Creek Outfitters offers the opportunity to hunt one-on-one for Mule Deer in north-central Alberta! This six-day hunt is scheduled for the 2015 season. Hunt may be upgraded to include moose, elk, bear, whitetail deer, coyote and/or wolf. Additional hunters are welcome at the regular price ($5,000) and non-hunters at $175 per day/ per person. This area of Alberta is home to high numbers of quality, Bull Moose and whitetails. Limited hunting pressure and quality habitat combine to produce many Bull Moose in the 45 to 55 inch category. The area also holds high numbers of wolves with good opportunity for hunters to harvest one (wolf can be added to this hunt)! Hunter may choose archery, muzzle-loader or rifle. Cross bows may be used during the rifle season only. Accommodations during this hunt will be a ranch house. Meals will be with the Outfitter’s family. Hunter is responsible for the cost of a license and tag as well as tips. Several Northeast Chapter members have hunted with Groat Creek Outfitters in the past and attest to the quantity and quality of the game in this area.
