.40 caliber, 10.5" octagonal smoothbore barrel, NSN. Blued finish, walnut stock with flat-sided grip, secured with brass key. Blade front sight with rear sight block. Brass nosecap, ramrod pipe, entry pipe, vase-finial triggerguard, and buttcap. Faceted flat lockplate with flat swan-neck cock. Faceted integral iron pan with fence and bridle. Unsigned. **Very good condition overall. Barrel has a light plumb patination leading to nearly black near breech. Lockplate has a dusty plumb color with some handling marks and blemishes to stock, including a small sliver of replaced wood on the left side of the piece along the barrel channel. Action is functional but has a weak sear. Good bore.** $1,000-$3,000
