Made in Herstal, Belgium by Browning in 1968. A unique note is that this gun is marked on left scene with Angelo Bee signature and on a "rock" in the scene is the name "Gino" indicating a possible custom collaboration on this Grade V pattern between Angelo Bee and Gino Cargnel. More research is needed here. Rifle is fitted with blued round 22" steel tapered with hooded ramp front sight and fold down rear sight. Barrel is marked with Belgium Patent Pending marking, caliber, serial number "46120M8", and Browning Company marking. Blued semi-automatic action with stippled top with gold deer scene on right with floral background. Left side has gold antelope scene with "Gino" on a rock and a floral background signed lower dead center "A. Bee". Action has gold washed trigger and floral engraved detachable magazine. Feathercrotch walnut pistol grip stock with checkered grip with floral border carving and fitted with "Browning" hard rubber butt plate. Matching walnut forearm with no sling swivel provisions. CONDITION
Overall 98% plus finish with light handling marks and flaws in finish on right side. Excellent bore and mechanics with possibly being only test fired. Does not appear to be a "Salt" gun. Case is in excellent condition. A super rare, near mint condition rifle.
