Percussion Cape gun made by William Gage of Coldwater, Michigan in circa 1870. Gun has 32" Twist Steel 12 gauge left barrel with side by side steel round rifled barrel in 32 caliber with smooth maker marked concave rib and rifle sights. Twin percussion locks marked "WM Gage/Coldwater/Mich" with double trigger control. Select figured piano finished walnut stock with German silver hardware including an oval patchbox. Comes with hardwood ramrod with brass tip. CALIBER: 12/32. FFL STATUS: Antique.
CONDITION
Overall good with traces of original metal finish and some light surface oxidation. 90% original piano finish remaining with light dings and bruises. Missing escutcheon key. Dark bores with functioning mechanics.
