The 100 square mile radius around the charming and elegant Pico Zuro Lodge is inhabited by over 50,000,000 million doves annually. These birds reproduce over five times per year. Fifty-five shooting fields within a short drive through rolling farmland are maintained to ensure a quality shooting experience. Pico Zuro Lodge was Cordoba’s first shooting lodge, and each day they donate hundreds of doves to a local kitchen that serves the area’s needy children.
A typical wing shooting day at Pico Zuro Lodge starts at 8:00 a.m. following a hearty chef-prepared breakfast. In the field, you will be accompanied by a pick up boy, who will provide shells and refreshments throughout the day. A delicious BBQ lunch with quality meat, homemade breads, salads, and local wines will be provided in the comfort of a shaded safari tent. After lunch, you can take a quick snooze in a hammock if you wish and continue shooting throughout the afternoon, retiring to the lodge whenever you’re ready to enjoy cocktails and dinner.
At the Pico Zuro Lodge, you will enjoy peaceful and tidy accommodation, as well as fantastic service and chef-prepared meals. Additional shooters can join you for $665US per day, and observers may come for the holiday for $360 US per day.
Airfares, transfers to and from the lodge ($195 per person), hunting licences ($65 per person per day), gun rental ($70 per day) or gun entry permits, and gratuities are not included. Shells are additional and are available through Dave Denies for $15 per box for imported, or $13.25 per box for local.
