Come to Argentina’s Santiago del Estero again for a 4-DAY DOVE HUNTING TRIP for FIVE (5) HUNTERS. Wingshooting Unlimited’s lodge, La “Pichona”, is located in this region of Argentina unequalled in number of doves, and they specialize in wing shooting only. Santiago del Estero has an estimated population of 20 million eared doves constantly increasing, offering today the same hunting quality Córdoba gave 15 years ago. The eared dove is almost identical to the North American mourning dove, being their main difference that the eared dove flies all day long, which ensures non-stop shooting. On a typical day any time of the year, an experienced hunter can shoot up to 2,000 rounds, mainly fly shoot. La Pichona is their new lodge, only 45 minutes from SDE airport and in the heart of the rural area where everyday hunting takes place. It’s completely surrounded by sawn grain fields and at a short distance of the groves where doves nest. The lodge counts on spacious rooms to host up to 12 people, all of them with heating, air-conditioning and private bathrooms. The inviting social area overlooking the gallery and garden pond is perfect to relax after a long hunting day and savor our gourmet dishes for dinner. At sunset, either the modern country gallery or the close grove of carob trees, are unique to share the anecdotes of the day while tasting a glass of Malbec wine by a camp fire. The trip includes eight (8) hunting trips, full board lodge accommodations, all snacks and drinks and all drives in SDE. It is valid for through August 6, 2018, any time of the year according to availability. Optional gun rental ($D300) is available, ammo is $13 per box.
