The Northeast Michigan Chapter - SCI welcomes Dan Adler, our Saturday keynote speaker, co-host of The Best of the West TV and owner of Diamond Outfitters of Arizona. Over the years dozens of SCI members have hunted and harvested fantastic mule deer and Coues deer and Javelina with Diamond Outfitters. This hunt is a “peak of the rut” archery hunt for FOUR hunters and is Diamond Outfitters largest donation to a regional SCI chapter ever! During times on this hunt (afternoons or after the deer kill) hunters may also pursue: Mountain Lion; Bobcat; Fox; Coyote; Coatimundi; Quail; Waterfowl and Dove!
This 5-day hunt can be taken in Jan 2016, 2017, 2018 or even 2019! Over the years Dan's clients have harvested Coues deer into the 110's, 120's and in December of 2013 one buck tipped the tape at 140 7/8--typical! Mule deer range from 130-180 with a 207 harvested in 2013! The Javelina hunting is almost automatic--spot and stalk and a second Javelina can be added with prior coordination. 4 different types of quail are available in this area and dove and predators are wildly abundant. This hunt is an ideal corporate retreat for your top employees or clients or even better as a family hunting escape. Temps can reach into the 60’s so you can escape winter in Arizona! Accommodations during this hunt will be heated canvas cabin tents, wall tents and/or bunk house/cabin. Transportation during this hunt will be by foot and 4x4s. Hunter is responsible for transportation to Tucson or Flagstaff (coordinate with outfitter); licenses and tag fees; and tips. Additional hunters can be added ($5,000 each) with additional options to upgrade the hunt to 7 days; a rifle hunt; non-hunters ($200 per day) and/or, with prior coordination, wild hogs, rams or buffalo can be added to this hunt for an additional fee.
