Here’s a chance for you and your buddy to chase coues deer while they’re still in full velvet in the mountains of Arizona with Mesquite Mountain Outfitters. Evan Brawner of MMO has generously donated a 6 night stay with 5 days dedicated to hunting for 2 archers. The Coues Deer is the smallest species of white tail deer. This is considered by most hunters to be the most challenging of all the deer species to harvest. Accurately named the "Grey Ghost" they can seemingly disappear with the blink of an eye never to be seen again. You will purchase your license in November of 2025 and the hunt will take place in August or September of 2026. This will be conducted as a two on one guided hunt with each hunter having the ability to take one coues deer. Accommodations will be in a lodge or canvas tent depending on the area hunted. The lucky winner will travel to Tucson, Arizona and rent a vehicle to drive to camp. Additional hunters are welcome at the published price. Non-hunters can come along for $750 per guest. Meals and soft drinks are provided and a bagged lunch is offered to take along during the day. Not included are before and after expenses, airfare, Arizona hunting ($160), coues deer tag ($300), meat processing, taxidermy, tips nor gratuities.
