Go on an Australian adventure with this 4-DAY JAVAN RUSA STAG HUNT for ONE (1) HUNTER INCLUDING TROPHY FEE in 2016-17. The Javan is equivalent in body size to a red stag. The rut for the Javans and the Molluccans is from June to August and premium hunting time is from June to November. They also have three tines on each antler which has a rough and nobbly texture. Rusa love water and will wallow on the slightest opportunity and dig up grass with their antlers and wear it as a head dress when rutting. Professional and personalized, Havago Australia’s safaris offer you a rich wildlife experience! Non-hunters are welcomed at $200 a day and this includes participation on the hunt or sightseeing and shopping in the local region. You can bring your own rifle; visitors permits are $140 or hire theirs for $50a day. Hunt begins from when you land in camp in the the Australian bush at Havago’s base camp in southern Queensland. Arrival afternoon is not included. You will have your own guide and hunting is done by 4WD, spotting, stalking and walking. You can upgrade for additional days/hunters/species at the rates in effect when you take your hunt. Havago Australia hunts in several regions in Australia totaling millions of acres allowing them to offer the very best in hunting and fishing to all their clients all year round. From their base camp they conduct their deer, goat, pig, scrub bulls and feral sheep safaris. They travel to the northern reaches of the Northern Territory for the “most wanted” and dangerous Asiatic water buffalo, the rare banteng and big boars. Havago also offers the southern deer hog and sambar safaris in Victoria and Melbourne. Timing of hunts is often dictated by Australia’s climate, so try to plan your hunt in the most optimum conditions for success. Included: four (4) days PH services and day rates for one (1) hunter, meals and accommodations, guiding and transportation during the hunt, trophy fee for one (1) Javan rusa stag, trophy and field prep. Not included: airfare, transfers, accommodations/meals before or after the hunt, upgrades, taxidermy, tips and gratuities. This is a 100% donation.
