Made in Linz, Austria by an unknown gunsmith in 1930. Barrel has part of a name "-Rucksess-Linz UrFahr" covered by scope mount. Gun has blued 26-3/4" Bohler steel barrels with 16 by 16 gauge barrels over 8x57JR rifle. Barrels have matted rib, rifle sights, scope mounts, sling swivels, and extractors. Case-hardened round body external hammer action with heavy chiseled game scene engraving, side clips, double trigger (front is set), tang barrel selector, and steel Oak Leaf engraved trigger guard. Walnut checkered pistol grip stock with right hand cheekpiece, and plastic butt plate. Matching walnut checkered splinter forearm with latch release. LOP: 13-1/2". DAC: 1-1/4". DAH: 2-1/4". CALIBER: 16/8x57JR. S/N: 111431. FFL STATUS: Curio & Relic.
CONDITION
Overall 90% original barrel blue with edge wear and handling area turning plum. Action has case colors in protected areas. Wood has added coat of oil with dings and bruises with checkering worn flat. Forearm has 2" hairline crack with a big gouge. Good bores and mechanics.
