Authentic 17th century European Wheelock pistol ornamented in 19th century by Spitzer or master European armourer. Measures 25” overall with a 15 ¼” barrel of .60 plus caliber. Wheelock mechanism complete and themetal is very good plus condition. The original stock was finely inlaid with decorated bone in dot and flower motif and ball added for effect in our opinion. Many 19th century firms including Spitzer ofGermany and Granger of France enhanced earlier arms to decorate castles and halls of Europe. The quality of decoration is very good and the wood would be hugely expensive today as few arms makers could equal. Anearly Wheelock of the 17th century with 19th century decoration. Shipping can take up to 6-8 weeks. Buyer pays all packing, material, handling, shipping costs and insurance. International Shipments will be sent to an exporter and buyer agrees to pay all costs incurred including all shipping costs, insurance, exporter fees and all custom & applicable duty fees.
Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Registration and Regulations apply and must be strictly followed.
