SHOTGUN WITH SPARE BARREL. Cal. 12 GA, 2 3/4". S# 3G18328. Bbl. 29 1/2". Model A5 Light Twelve semi-automatic shotgun, mfg. in Belgium and imported/retailed by Browning Arms Company in 1963. Left side of the bbl. is marked with Browning's importer information above "MADE IN BELGIUM", followed by Belgian proofs, with the cal. designation marked on the right. Receiver features light foliate engraving, with "Light Twelve" and the Browning trademark logo marked on the left. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall, save for the bolt assembly, which is polished in-the-white. Checkered rnd. knob buttstock and forend have been sanded and revarnished. Aluminum bead and detachable red fiber optic front sight. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: spare 25 5/8" bbl. with vintage carrier. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their original factory finish, exhibiting some areas of wear and thinning that show through to gray and brown patinas, as well as some areas of light surface oxidation overall. Mirror bore. Action functions appropriately when cycled by hand. Wood furniture shows some scattered marks and minor impressions from handling and storage, with a small crack present on the underside of the forend at the rear. Spare bbl. retains the majority of its original factory blue finish, exhibiting some oxidation overall while retaining a mirror bore. Carrier exhibits wear, fraying, and some holes. (24-3930/MLW).
