Indian British Empire military bolt action single shot shotgun chambered for the .410 Mk 1Z cartridge. Rebuilt in 1932 by R.F.I. utilizing an English made ShtLE Mk I** rifle. Features a blued finish, 25.2" barrel, , raised patridge front sight, shrouded tangent type rear sight graduated to 2,000 yards, metal nosecap with protective sight ears, single barrel band, serrated trigger, wood filled magazine well, manual safety on the left side of the receiver, charge loading bridge on the receiver, full length smooth wood hand guard & forend, and straight grip shoulder stock with brass trapdoor buttplate. The right side of the butt socket is marked '[crown]/ER/BSA Co/date scrubbed by R.F.I" & "Sht L E/I** and the left side is market "410/RFI/1932" Serial numbers match on the receiver, bolt handle, rear sight, nose cap and forend. Rifle exhibits approximately 90% of its blued finish with very little wear, some minor edge wear, and friction wear on the bolt. Action is smooth, the smooth bore is excellent and the wood stocks are very good with some dings/dents No Import marks
