Beaded Indian scabbard and iron bladed knife. The knife is in overall very good condition with a 7 ½” hand tooled iron blade and overall length of 13”. Although we are unsure of its age, the blade shows sharpening and old pitting along with exhibiting a crude, hand-finished appearance. The smooth wood scales are decorated with brass tacks. The scales show cracks, mars and tool marks. The scabbard is completed with bead and sinew in a Plains Indian motif. The scabbard is further decorated with hand tied buckskin fringe. A nice set.
