Here is a very finely made, 16 gauge, side by side double, with highly engraved and case hardened side locks and exposed 'Rabbit Ear" hammers. Greener cross bolt. Barrel rib marked "Acier Extra Fine", and on both barrel "Pour Poudres Blanches" highlighted in gold. 24" barrels choked IC, & CYL, LOP is 14" Walnut stocks have fine checkering on the wrist, & forearm, action has floral/scroll engraving with rabbits on side, and fox hunting water fowl on the other. Although not marked as such, the shot, and engraving is done in the style of artisans Raick Freres established in Liege, Belgium in 1807 and were in business as late as 1965. They were know for their high grade custom rifles and shotguns. rebounding hammers, and spring loaded firing pins. The bores are overall good/bright with some light pitting above the chambers. Double trigger. Action is smooth, barrels lock-up tight, wood is very good, minor scratches, sling swivels attached. Serial number matched on water table, and barrels. NRA Condition-Good. C&R Firearm.
