Long time donors Mike and Dixie Hammett offer this 10 day hunt for one species – hunter’s choice - Bison, Elk or Mt. Goat for one hunter in Northeast British Columbia’s Sikanni River Valley. This hunt is scheduled for the 2018 season but may be deferred until 2019. The hunt will originate at the Hammett’s lodge located on the Sikanni River near Pink Mountain, British Columbia. Accommodations during the hunt may include remote cabins. This hunt includes trophy fees for the first animal harvested. A trophy fee of $2,000 per additional animal harvested ($4,000 trophy fee for Bison) is the bidder’s responsibility. This is a rifle or archery equipment hunt. Transportation during this hunt may be by horseback, ATV, and by foot. Hunter is responsible for the cost of hunting license and tag fees (approximately $1,500); non-resident Hunter Preservation fee ($200) transportation to and from Fort St. John and for transportation from Fort St. John to camp ($250). This hunt may be upgraded to include additional hunters ($11,900) and/or non-hunters ($300 per day). Sikanni River is the Chapter’s longest donating outfitter! Chapter members who have hunted with Sikanni River in the past report having experienced hunts of exceptional quality with hosts that are second to none!
