British Columbia: Tahltan Outfitters - The winning bidder of this item will win one of the rarest and most expensive hunts in North America - a 10-Day British Columbia Stone Sheep hunt with Tahltan Outfitters. Many serious sheep hunters consider the Stone’s sheep to be one of the toughest trophies to acquire of the four primary species of North American wild sheep. There aren’t a lot of them, they inhabit some of the most remote and rugged areas of North America - requiring the hunter to be in excellent shape - and the hunts are very expensive. For these reasons, it makes sense to carefully choose your outfitter. Tahltan Outfitters have achieved high success for each of the past three seasons and are expert sheep hunters, with the ability to both locate rams and evaluate their quality.
This hunt is located in the pristine mountains of northern British Columbia. The vast hunting concession is a true wilderness area, stretching all the way to the Yukon and accessible only by float plane, as there are no roads. Parts of the area have seen very little or almost no hunting pressure, allowing the rams here to reach full maturity and excellent trophy quality.
