British Dragoon Uniform Lot
Two Total. 1) British 6th Inniskilling Dragoon tunic. Believe Early 20th Century, as the Regiment was joined with the 5th Dragoons in 1922. Red tunic with yellow collar, shoulder boards, and cuffs. Sleeve braid above cuffs, brass "6 D" affixed to shoulder boards, partial white twill lining with makers label. Correct brass buttons with "Castle", & "6", all there. Comes with Correct black leather cartridge box with Castle plate with "Inniskilling" beneath, white leather strap with brass fitting, and the white leather belt with "S" buckle, and sword hangers. All in very good condition. Missing the collar devices, which are still available . A rare tunic to find. 2) British 2nd Dragoon tunic. The Royal Scot Grays. Fought at Waterloo. Believe Early-mid 20th Century, as the Regiment was joined with the Royal Scot Guards in 1971. Red tunic with black collar, shoulder boards, and cuffs. Sleeve braid above cuffs, brass "2 D" affixed to shoulder boards, partial white twill lining with military stamps. Correct brass buttons with "Imperial eagle, & "Waterloo, all there. Lance Corporal chevron on right sleeve. Comes with Correct leather cartridge box with Waterloo Eagle plate, white leather strap with brass fitting, and the white leather belt with plain brass buckle, and sword hangers. B A bag of correct extra buttons come with the tunic. All in very good condition. Also missing the collar devices, which are still available .
