Brno/KBI Model 1 .22 LR SN: 13075
Scarce BRNO Model 1 .22 L.R. bolt action Sporting rifle in excellent condition. Manufactured from 1945-1957, this rifle was also known as the ZKM 451, and was the predecessor of the popular CZ 452 line. This gun has a lot of neat features such as the 50/75/100 meter express rear sight, square bridged receiver with grooves for scope mounting, a straight bolt handle, all steel trigger guard and magazine. The stock features a pistol grip, straight comb and schnabel forend. The condition is excellent with approximately 98% of the matte blue finish remaining. All functions work as they should, and the bore is bright and shiny. The stock is free of cracks, and shows just a couple of very tiny handling marks. There are a couple of imperfections in the oil finish (behind the trigger guard and near the butt on the left side), these could be easily rubbed out with some finish. BRNO rifles were very popular world wide, but are seldom seen in the United States due to the fact that they were produced behind the Iron Curtain during the Cold War. These rifles are known to be highly accurate and reliable. Imported by KBI, left receiver. NRA Condition-Excellent. C&R Firearm.
