Brown Mfg. Southerner Deringer, .41 rimfire caliber, 2.5" octagonal barrel length, S/N 3542, top of barrel marked "Southerner" and left side of barrel marked "Brown MFG." over "Newburyport, Mass" over patent date. Blued barrel with brassframe and walnut grips. Barrel has been lightly cleaned but markings are still sharp. Brass has a yellowing patina and the grips are good with minimal wear. Bore is good.
