This large group contains several items relating to Charles J. Peppin of Toronto. 1 grayish blue uniform that has been stripped of buttons and other insignia; however, there is a wool patch on the right sleeve that reads "CANADA" in an arc. Below this is a rectangular patch that reads "U.S.A" and the left sleeve has the same "U.S.A" patch. / 1 Union Jack flag measuring approx. 70" x 35". / 1 necktie of the period. / 1 small book titled "CANADIAN SOLDIERS SONG BOOK." / 1 small book titled "THE YMCA HYMNAL." / 2 photographs, presumably of Peppin. / 2 funeral cards belonging to Peppin. / 1 Pressed leather WWI dog tag. / 1 Miniature book titled "PARADISE LOST" by Milton. / 1 unissued WWI Victory Medal, in box, addressed to Peppin. / 1 WWI Service Medal, in box, addressed to Peppin. / 32 Canadian military buttons. / 4 small blue wool chevrons. / 11 Canadian cap and collar insignia. / 2 keys. / 1 hard rubber comb. / 1 wool sacred heart patch. / 1 silvered belt buckle with the initial "P" on the front. / 1 ribbon bar for the British Mons Star. / 1 three-award ribbon bar for the Mons Star, WWI War Service Medal, and WWI Victory Medal. / 4 photographs of Peppin in uniform. / 1 first aid kit in a red tin. / 1 German tin marked "Weinsaure-tabletten". / 1 iron rosary. / 1 metal plate from a coffee machine.
