Cape to Cairo Safari offers an exciting 5-day Plains, Exotic, and Dangerous Game hunt in South Africa for two hunters. This adventure includes trophy fees for both Blue and Black Wildebeest for each hunter, with the option to hunt using either a rifle or a bow. Available year-round in 2025 or 2026, this hunt can be upgraded to include additional species at current price lists or extended by adding days at $400 per person per day. Additional hunters are welcome to join for $400 per day, while non-hunters can accompany for $250 per day. The hunt involves transportation primarily by vehicle and is conducted using the spot and stalk method. The package includes field preparation, transportation to taxidermy, luxury accommodations, daily laundry service, and all meals and beverages, including moderate alcoholic drinks. However, certain costs are not covered, such as dip and pack service, licenses at $75 per person, round-trip ground transfers from O.R. Tambo International Airport at $500 per person, 15% VAT on daily rates, rifle hire at $45 per day, ammunition at $10 per round, a conservation fee of $70 per person per day, accommodations before and after the hunt (if required), additional trophies beyond the included credit, and gratuities. The hunting lodge has received a 5-star rating from the South African Tourism Board and features exceptional accommodations and services, including a gym, spa, and more, making it an ideal destination for large groups and family trips. AUCTION RULES, TERMS & CONDITIONS
The following rules apply to all bidders participating in online bidding and must be followed unequivocally. All decisions of the auctioneer will be final. The auctioneer and HSCF staff will render decisions on any disputes regarding the bids during the auction.
HSCF supports and promotes hunts and trips from donors who are members in good standing with their local and national hunting associations.
Some items, as components of donated hunts, may or may not be included unless specified. This may pertain to travel expenses to and from destination; hotel and meals before and after the hunt; alcoholic beverages; trophy dipping, packaging and shipping; gratuities and other items. Please review the details for each auction item.
Most hunt donations have specified dates for which they may be taken. Special arrangements other than as set forth in the auction descriptions are expressly between the donor and the auction winner.
Some non-hunt donations may require delivery and installation at your expense.
The winner’s credit card on file will be charged the full amount for each winning bid. At the conclusion of the auction, the winner will receive an email acknowledgment and a paid invoice once payment has been processed.
In the event the winner's card is declined, HSCF will make one (1) attempt to contact the winner to obtain a new form of payment. If the bidder cannot be reached, HSCF may, in its sole and absolute discretion, may offer the item for resale.
HSCF online auction winners will be assessed a Buyer's Premium (5% or $250, whichever is less) on the total winning bid amount for each online purchase. The Buyer’s Premium will be included in the total charged for each item.
Online bidders agree to not interfere or disrupt the standard working function of any aspect of the online auction, via any device, software or other means.
If an active bidder is not satisfied with an aspect of the online auction, the bidder's only recourse is to discontinue use of the online auction system prior to the conclusion of bidding or the purchase of an item.
HSCF reserves the right, for any reason, in its sole discretion, to terminate, change or suspend any aspect of the online auction and/or to void any sale, temporarily suspend bidding, and offer any goods affected by any malfunction for resale.
All disputes regarding HSCF auction items purchased during this auction shall be submitted in writing to HSCF. All disputes and/or requests for refunds must detail and demonstrate proof of dispute. HSCF, at its sole discretion, may or may not approve a requested refund, based on the evidence and information provided. Credits or refunds will not be given, for any reason that is beyond the control of HSCF, if the auction winner is unable to utilize the purchased item with the time frame described in the auction description. Credits will not be provided by HSCF for any item for which the donor and buyer alter or vary the terms set forth for the item in the auction description as provided during this auction.
For any approved credits or refunds, which will be made at the sole discretion of HSCF and are final, the credit or refund will not exceed the amount allocated to HSCF for the specific item, in the case of items for proceeds are to be shared with any third party.
