12 gauge, 28" barrel, S/N 10642. Length of pull 14.5" with period-added recoil pad, drop at heel 2.25". Reblued finish with bright steel frame. Brass bead front sight with plain rib. Walnut stock with checkered grip and splinter forend. Fences and lever engraved with Belgian scrolls and engraved screw heads. Sidelocks and frame engraved with Belgian scrolls and scroll borders with "JAMES LANG & CO."Â Water table with British commercial and viewing proofs. The whole in a leather case with reproduction Watson Brothers label. Top of box personalized with "P.A.B. Whitmee". **Very good condition overall. Some minor handling marks to bluing with frame having been cleaned in the European manner. Engravings still visible. Stock shows some minor handling marks.
