Christoph Funk, Suhl Drilling, 16 gauge and 7.65mm calibers, serial #36831. The rifle is in very good overall condition with 28” barrels. The barrels retain the majority of their muted blue finish with a post front and folding rear sights. The barrels show a slight loss of finish at the breech. The receiver is beautifully engraved in antlered game animals and scroll with clipped fences. The rifle comes with a tang mounted safetyas well as a Greener style stalking safety. The finely checkered wood stock is in good condition with a splinter fore end and beautiful figure to the wood. The butt stock features an engraved trigger guard and endswith a basket weave horn butt plate and a 14” LOP. The bores are good, the action crisp and markings are sharp on this desirable pre-war drilling from Suhl, Germany. Est.: $1,750-$3,500. (C+R).

Shipping can take up to 6-8 weeks. Buyer pays all packing, material, handling, shipping costs and insurance. International Shipments will be sent to an exporter and buyer agrees to pay all costs incurred including all shipping costs, insurance, exporter fees and all custom & applicable duty fees.
