Civil War era Cavalry Officer’s sword (no scabbard), approximately 40” overall with a blade marked “U.S”/”A.G.__” and dated 1865; the maker is C. Roby. The sword is in overall fair + condition with guard showingscattered nicks and scratches and the wire and leather wrap are missing from the wood grip; the front of the guard is stamped with the numeral “10”. Shipping can take up to 6-8 weeks. Buyer pays all packing, material, handling, shipping costs and insurance. International Shipments will be sent to an exporter and buyer agrees to pay all costs incurred including all shipping costs, insurance, exporter fees and all custom & applicable duty fees.
