Classic old forged steel banded wood traveling trunk painted on front “LULU PARR” and “MILLER BROS”/“101 RANCH” on the top with brass tack decorations, approximately 37” long x 16” high x 18” deep in overallgood condition. Hand written letter and other assorted documents accompany this lot. The letter states the trunk was found at a flea market in 2009 near St. Cloud, Minnesota. The Miller Bros lettering was reportedlystill partially visible as apparently was the 101 Ranch lettering and LULU PARA marking. The letter further notes “The only background information came from the daughter of the couple who had purchased the trunk at a salein Ohio. Her name was Anna Johnson who lives in St. Cloud. Her parents lived in Columbus, Ohio from 1947 ‘till the 80’s”. After their death, the trunk remained in an old building on her brothers farm for some 20 years.Additionally, the letter notes the trunk was subsequently carefully cleaned and restored where needed by Paulette Berndt, of a town near Jamesport, Missouri. Shipping can take up to 6-8 weeks. Buyer pays all packing, material, handling, shipping costs and insurance. International Shipments will be sent to an exporter and buyer agrees to pay all costs incurred including all shipping costs, insurance, exporter fees and all custom & applicable duty fees.
Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Registration and Regulations apply and must be strictly followed.
