Colt 1851 Navy .36 caliber percussion revolver, S/N 14952 with London address, iron guard, British proofs and desirable W.D. marking with broad head proof indicating issue to the Military forces at the period of Crimean War and “The Charge of the Light Brigade”. This revolver remains in very good plus condition with 10%-15% original blue nicely drifting to a natural light gray patina. Very sharp and crisp withwell-defined markings. 40%-60% original cylinder scene with Ornsby signature and engagement dates legible. The barrel and rammer are numbered 18638 and the frame, trigger guard and backstrap are numbered14952. The cylinder is numbered 24720. The condition and fit is indicative to be arsenal or field assembly for military re-issue. A very nice martial though mis-matched. (Antique) Est.: $1750-$3500

Shipping can take up to 6-8 weeks. Buyer pays all packing, material, handling, shipping costs and insurance. International Shipments will be sent to an exporter and buyer agrees to pay all costs incurred including all shipping costs, insurance, exporter fees and all custom & applicable duty fees.
