Colt 1860 Army .44 Cal., S/N 19898 with 4 screw frame cut for stock made about 1862 during the Civil War. Grey to brown patina with some light to moderate pitting and erosion. Good barrel address and patent markings. The serial numbers are matching. The left grip is carved "Co. M" in block letters. A notch for I.D. cut on each side of the frame. The grips show small losses and wear from use. The action is good. The wedge and screw are good replacements. Est.: $1,250-$2,500
