Colt 3rd Model Dragoon percussion revolver, cut for shoulder stock, .44 caliber, 7.5” barrel, blued and case hardened finish, wood grips, S/N 17724 (all matching visible including rammer). This Dragoon is inoverall very good + condition displaying an overall even grey patina, majority of its original cylinder scene remaining with scattered pinprick pitting and spots of small erosion confined primarily to the cylinder;crisp action, good bore and markings, brass trigger guard, iron backstrap; grips show considerable finish remaining, a small old repair to the front bottom of the left grip and some scattered old mars and scratches.Per Flayderman’s Guide to Antique American Firearms, only approximately 1,200-1,500 3rd Models were produced to accept a shoulder stock. Shipping can take up to 6-8 weeks. Buyer pays all packing, material, handling, shipping costs and insurance. International Shipments will be sent to an exporter and buyer agrees to pay all costs incurred including all shipping costs, insurance, exporter fees and all custom & applicable duty fees.
