Colt Bisley Single Action Revolver, .44-40, 7 ½” barrel marked “Colt Frontier Six Shooter”, blue and case hardened, checkered hard rubber grips, S/N 269649. This revolver remains in very good plus condition showing considerable original bluefinish remaining with areas going to a patina. There are scattered areas of pinprick pitting and erosion most of which are on the back strap. The frame shows traces of case colors and some screws retain their niter blue finish. The grips remainin very good condition with some dings from use and carry. The markings are sharp, the action is crisp and the bore is good with pinprick pitting. Accompanied by a factory letter confirming all features with stocks “Not Listed”; shipped to M.Hartley Co., New York, N.Y., January 3, 1906, 1 gun in shipment. (C&R/PPT) Est.: $2,000-$4,000
