Colt British Contract Government Model 1911 semi-automatic pistol, .455 caliber, 5” barrel, blued finish, checkered wood grips with two tone magazine and lanyard ring, S/N W19181 (contract ca. 1915-16); inscribed onthe right side of the slide “Lt. J. W. Crewdson/20th Manchesters”; in overall fine condition displaying the majority of its original finish with some scattered high point wear, fine bore, crisp action andmarkings, fine grips. Per Sutherland and Wilson’s The Book of Colt Firearms, approximately 11,000 of this variation were produced; serialized in their own number range beginning with W10001.(C&R/PPT). Est.: $1,750-$3,500.

Shipping can take up to 6-8 weeks. Buyer pays all packing, material, handling, shipping costs and insurance. International Shipments will be sent to an exporter and buyer agrees to pay all costs incurred including all shipping costs, insurance, exporter fees and all custom & applicable duty fees.
Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Registration and Regulations apply and must be strictly followed.
