Colt Fitz Special Detective Model revolver, .38 Special caliber, Serial #462369. The pistol is in fine overall condition with a 2” barrel. The pistol retains nearly all of an old quality re-blue with light wear at themuzzle and a faint drag line on the cylinder. The pistol features a bobbed hammer, cutaway trigger guard and checkered trigger. The checkered wood silver medallion grips are in very good condition with small marsand compressions from carry and use. The butt has “GP” lightly scratched into it. The bore is very good, the action crisp and markings are sharp. The lot includes a carved leather, open top holster marked,“S.D. MYRES EL PASO, TEX” from the Gil Newton Collection. The consignor’s notes indicate the pistol was shipped from the factory on October 18, 1940 to Buhl & Sons Co. of Detroit, Michigan. Est.: $2,500-$5,000.(C+R).

Shipping can take up to 6-8 weeks. Buyer pays all packing, material, handling, shipping costs and insurance. International Shipments will be sent to an exporter and buyer agrees to pay all costs incurred including all shipping costs, insurance, exporter fees and all custom & applicable duty fees.
