Colt Lightning Magazine fed pump action rifle in .44-40 caliber with round barrel and early open top, S/N 7119. Refinished with good and fully visible address, replacement front and rear sights in original dovetails and is now a larger than factory specs buckhorn rear with blade front. The stocks have been refinished and downsized against metal. The action works well and shows tuning up and polish. The bore is fair to good and serviceable showing wear. Drying up in .44-40. Factory letter states .44 CLMR caliber, 26round barrel, blue finish, wood stocks, Shipped to N. Curry & Brothers, San Francisco, California, September 30, 1885, 10 guns in shipment.(Antique) Est.: $800-$1600
