Colt SAA Revolver in .41 Long Colt caliber with a 7 ½” barrel, blue and case colored finish and hard rubber grips, S/N 237642. Factory letter confirms caliber, barrel length, and other features except grips “NotListed” and shipped to Marshall Wells Hardware Co in Deluth, Portland, Spokane, Jan 17, 1903, 2 guns in shipment. Under remarks: records indicate return March 6, 1905 and reshipped to Sears Chicago April 3, 1905.This Colt remains in good condition with 30%-50% toning and drifting blue and case colors with some minor erosion and natural aging. Good markings and matching numbers. The grips fit impeccable and match conditionremaining in good to very good condition. The bottom right grip is carved with the initials “H.N.”. The front sight shows full dimensions and most original blue. Correct to the period hammer and all small parts. Theaction is tight and the bore is good. The action is tight and the bore is good. A pleasing 7-7.5 on a 1-10 scale and very rare with approximately 300 made in .41 Colt caliber with a 7 ½” barrel estimated (See
