Colt SAA revolver, .32 W.C.F. caliber, 4.75” barrel, blued finish, ivory grips, S/N 236366, in overall very good + condition showing considerable areas of original blue, very good bore, crisp action, sharp markingsan d very good + grips; accompanied by a Colt factory letter confirming caliber, consignor note, A.L. Babcock was a partner in Billings with A.W. Miles in a Hardware store with branch stores at the Crow Agency and inTwodot, MT. Miles moved to Livingston, MT to form the Yellowstone Park Camps Co. and Babcock sold the business in 1903 to the Billings Hardware Co. (C&R/No PPT). Est.: $2,000-$4,000.
