Colt SAA revolver, .38/40 caliber, 5.5” barrel, blued finish, checkered hard rubber grips, S/N 301811, in overall very good condition showing a grey patina to metal surfaces with scattered pinprick pitting andsome areas of erosion, good bore, crisp action, good markings and very good grips. Accompanied by a Colt factory letter confirming caliber, barrel length and finish, type of stocks “Not Listed”; sold toWinchester Repeating Arms Co. in New Haven, CT. and shipped to Strevell-Paterson Hardware Co. in Salt Lake City, Utah on December 31, 1907. Would be interesting to further research Strevell-Paterson Hardware and itsassociation with Winchester during this 1907 time period. (C&R/No PPT). Est.: $1,500-$3,000.
