Colt SAA revolver, .45 caliber, 4.75” barrel, S/N 121807, blued and case hardened finish, wood grips in overall very good condition displaying an overall dark patina with some light traces of original case colors in protected areas of theframe; crisp action, good markings and fair to good bore. The grips are also overall good. Accompanied by a Colt factory letter confirming all features and noting shipment to Manzanares and Co., Las Vegas, Territory of New Mexico on June18, 1887 with 100 guns in shipment. Also included with the letter are copies of informational articles on Manzanares and the turbulent times existing during the late 1880’s in and around Las Vegas. (Antique). Est.: $3,000-$6,000.
