Colt SAA revolver engraved and silver inlaid with carved ivory grips inlaid with gold plate inscribed “J.W.”. This revolver was displayed at the iconic Golden Steer Restaurant on Sahara Ave. 1 block from theSahara Hotel where the Antique Arms Shows were held. Displayed 1977 – 2003. By tradition, this revolver was used by John Wayne in his last movie “The Shootist”. Joe Kludjian knew John Wayne well as he was aconstant customer of the restaurant and bar. Serial #64097SA, 2nd Generation originally shipped Oct. 20, 1972, to Kamloops Distributors, Boise, ID. As plain blue, .45 Long Colt, 5.5” barrel; no otherdocumentation. (Modern/No PPT). Shipping can take up to 6-8 weeks. Buyer pays all packing, material, handling, shipping costs and insurance. International Shipments will be sent to an exporter and buyer agrees to pay all costs incurred including all shipping costs, insurance, exporter fees and all custom & applicable duty fees.
