Colt Shooting Master Model revolver, .357 Magnum caliber, Serial #340853. The pistol is in fine to nearly excellent overall condition with a 6” barrel with a blade front sight. The pistol retains approximately 95% of its blued finish with light holster wear at the muzzle and the faintest of drag lines on the cylinder. The checkered wood silver medallion grips are in very good condition with sharp checkering and light mars fromstorage. The bore is very good, the action crisp and markings are sharp on this most acceptable Shooting Master. According to the records of the consignor, the pistol was assembled on February 24, 1922 and shipped to Pacific Gun Sight of San Francisco, California on March 6, 1939, after a year on the shelf.
