Colt Single Action Army revolver, .38 Special caliber, Serial #171235. The pistol is in very good to nearly fine overall condition with a 5 ½” barrel. The pistol has been re-barreled to .38 Special during the periodof use. The barrel retains nearly all of its blued finish as does the cylinder, while the front sight is full height. The frame shows significant muted case hardening while the hammer shows vivid color. The checkeredrubber grips are in very good condition showing little use while fitting very well. The bore is good, the action is crisp and markings are sharp. The pistol includes a factory letter indicating a manufacture dateof July 1, 1897, shipped to Simmons Hardware of St. Louis, Missouri with all features as described with the exception of the re-barreling. The pistol left the factory with a 4 ¾” .38/40 barrel. From the estateof Larry Gaertner. Est.: $1,200-$2,400. (Modern)

Shipping can take up to 6-8 weeks. Buyer pays all packing, material, handling, shipping costs and insurance. International Shipments will be sent to an exporter and buyer agrees to pay all costs incurred including all shipping costs, insurance, exporter fees and all custom & applicable duty fees.
Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Registration and Regulations apply and must be strictly followed.
