Colt U.S. Army Model 1909 New Service DA revolver, .45 caliber, Serial #46147. The pistol is in very good overall condition as re-finished and re-barreled with a 7 ½” New Service barrel. The pistol retainsapproximately 90-95% of an old re-blued finish. The Colt marking on the frame is faint and the right side of the frame is marked, R.A.C. The smooth ivory medallion grips are in very good condition going to apleasant taffy patina with age cracks forming at the base. The lanyard ring is retained, marked,” US ARMY MODEL 1909 No. 46147”. The bore is fair, the action functions and the markings are legible on this WWI era Model1909 circa 1911. Est.: $500-$1,000. (C+R/PPT).
