Colt U.S. Army Model 1917 DA revolver, .45 ACP caliber, Serial #217713. The pistol is in fine overall condition as re-finished with a 5 ½” barrel. The pistol retains approximately 95-96% of an old qualityre-blue with most of the markings polished out and engine turning on the hammer and trigger. The smooth wood grips are in good condition showing heavy use with dents, mars and bruising. The butt is marked, “U.S. ARMY MODEL 1917 No. 74265”, with the lanyard ring retained. The bore is fair and the action functions well. Est.: $250-$500. (C+R/PPT).
